Launched during the yuletide of 2008 the Send Portion Campaign, a special feeding outreach to children in the inner cities, continued through the first half of 2009. Deriving its theme from the scripture eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions to them for whom nothing is prepared, (Nehemiah 8:10) the Send Portion Campaign team had visited more than 100 inner city communities and feed over 60,000 children altogether. In order to effectively minister to the poor and neglected children to whom the campaign was initiated, the campaign later evolved into School Based Feeding Outreach and Community Based Feeding Outreach.read more |

The Apostle John while writing about the earthly ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ records that … for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.(1 John 3:8b). It is for this same purpose that our missionaries work tirelessly in the squatter camps and slums of our cities. These are areas mostly occupied by the poor masses who in most cases are either unemployed or very low income earners. Here is where we have the highest concentration of miscreants who occupies derelict structures.read more
The Send Portion Campaign like every other ICM outreach initiatives has been geared toward bringing the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to children, and families in the inner cities, and ensuring they receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit. To this end the campaign session is usually characterized by children being led into a period of praises and worship to God, after which ICM missionaries minister the Word of God to them. It is usually a sight to behold how children receive the Holy Spirit, and parents also giving their heart to Christ during these campaigns. read more
